Elsi worked for Cleveland Social Services for 24 years, 19 years of which she managed teams of Social Workers in Children and Families Services including Child Protection. In 1996 she set up an Independent Social Work Consultancy which now operates across the North East. Elsi became the Diocesan Child Protection Adviser in November 1997 and is available 7days a week for consultation and advice on all issues relating to Child Protection and the Protection of Vulnerable Adults.
